SAILORS' REST.
A large audience 'of seafaring men and waterside workers greeted tho usual fortnightly concert given in tho Sailors' Host last evening under the auspices of St. Patrick's Seamen's. Conference of the Society of St. Vincent do Paul. The programme submitted was of an exceptionally high order, and . met with tho lionrty approval of those present. Items, were contributed Ijy the following ladies ii ml gentlemen':—Pianoforte solo, Miss Packer; song, Mr. E. Healy; song, Miss E Strickland; song, Mr. F. Eller; impersonations, Mr. J. Hiues; song, Miss C. liarton; comic song, Mr. B. Durney; son;;, Miss M. Frith; violin solo, Mr. Williams; song, Mr. 71. Tiiinoy; comic song, Mr. F. Leslie; song, Miss Durney; vontriloquial sketch, Mr. M. Howard; song and recitation, Miss M. Davidson; coon quartette, Messrs. Knowles, Sharp, Lansdowne, and Green. Tho accompaniments were efficiently played by Misses Dohcrty, Packer, Davidson, and Mr. Williams. Captain Boiuier relumed thanks to tho performers.
