Replying to an address by the Lord Mayor and Corporation of the City of London, his Majesty said that he hoped to continue King Edward's efforts to consolidate tho foundation of peace among the Powers, and to promote a spirit of goodwill among all classes of his subjects. Ho acknowledged addresses by the Royal Society and the London County Councils and tributes from all over the world. KING'S MESSAGE TO COMMONS, (ltec. Juno 10, 10.15 p.m.) London, June 10. In the House of Commons King Georgo's message in reply to tho Houso's addresses of condolence and loyalty was read.
