THE DRAYTON GRANGE. The Federal-floulder-Shiro liner Drayton Grange is due from Waitara to-morrow, and will berth at tho Glasgow Wnarr for purpose of Homeward loading. She is to -sail for Tiraaru on Saturday. . THE AKAHUKA. Advice Teceived by tho Union Company states that the Arahura left Grcymouth at 9 a.m. yesterday for Wcstport. Sho was to sail from the latter port at 8 p.m. for Nelson, Picton, and Wellington, and should, accordingly, arrive here w* night. The Kairaki is duo from tho south to-morrow, and loads for Napier. At any time now the Tyser liner Indradevi is expected to put in an appearanco at Auckland, from Liverpool direct. She discharges part cargo at Auckland, and then comes south to Napier and Wellington. The Union Company's Whangape is not now expected to reach Wellington from Wcstport until Friday. As the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's R.J1.8. Arawa, from London, waa a day ahead of time-table at Cape Town, bho should reach Jlobart to-day, and Wellington • 011 Monday next. Shortage of trucks is still causing delay to the colliers in port, and neither tho Wairuna nor the Waipori was able to complete discharge yesterday. Conditions at Greymouth had improved considerably yesterday, and tho Poherua, which had been bar-bound inside for several days, sailed for Wellington, and is due here this morning. Both the sailing vessels, Maroro and Daniel, will shortly have completed discharge of their hardwood cargoes at Miramar. The Maroro will then bo dispatched to Havelock to load timber for Sydney, and the Daniel will probably also load timber for an Australian poTt. This morning the collier Petone will be brought d£f tho Patent Blip,- and will come alongsido to complete overhaul. The coastal steamer Ifangapapa is due this morning from Karainea, and sho will be dispatched this evening for Westport and Karainea. Throe steamers of the Anchor Shipping and Foundry Company's fleet are due here to-day. Tho Wavorley arrives early this morning | from Picton, and will be dispatched this evening for Nelson and West Coast. The Alexander and the . ICaitoa are both to arrivo from Greymouth. Tho former sails to-morrow for. Nelson and West Coast, and. the''latter "to-hiorrow. fois West Wanganui.

A smart round trip between Lyttelton and Wostport of less than four days, was raado by the ' Westport CoaJ Company's steamer Canopus last week". She left Lyttelton on Tuesday night, reached Westport at 5 a.m. on Thursday, and after loading a full cargo of coalr sailed for Lyttelton at 5.15 a.m. ou Friday, reaching there at 3.10 p.m. on Saturday. She sailed again last night for Wostport. When the Union Company's chartered steamer Echunga left Newcastle for Lytteltou ou May 29, she had 8500 tons of coal, including her bunker supplies, on board. The Echunga has about 7400 tons of coal to discharge at Lyttelton, this being the largest coal cargo brought in one bottom to the port for some* years past. Rolling stock is sctid to be in fairly good supply at Lytteltou, so it is anticipated that she will bo able to put out hor cargo in about eight days.
