The barometer rose everywhere last night, and moderate to. strong westerly winds have prevailed, with cloudy and foggy weather in most parts. Present indications aro for a falling barometer shortly in the south, with freshening northerly winds and increasing cloudiness for a storm area approaching from the westward.
