Three pounds mutton, 3 onions, 1 carrot, 2 cups stock,. herbs, 1 turnip, Boz. dripping, 1 tablespoon flour, pepper and salt, Brown the cut-up vegetables trnd tho meat in dripping, remove them, and pour off grease; pour in stock, and add flour mixed smooth with cold water; Btrain and put in pan, freed from grease. Boil up gravy, add meat, and stew half-an-hour; then, add vegetables and simmer again till these arc cooked. Dish vegetables in centre and meat round, and pour over the gravy. FOE TO-MORUOW. Cod. Filet of beef. Celery. Potatoes. Apples. Paste.
