COURSING.
RALMERSTON MEETING. (By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Palmerston North, May 25.. In spite of wet weather there was a good attendance at the Palmerston Coursing Club's members' meeting toclay. There were three events, and good fields started in cach. ' The Novice Cup was won by Dusky Queen, who beat Miss Bodmin in the final. The Terrace End Ladies' Bracelet was won by Balaclava, who beat Sandy Drummond in the final. The Members' Maiden Stake was won by Dan O'Connor, who beat Gunsmith in the ,final. There is .a probability that the stake for the Waterloo Cup, to bo run here this year, and which is limited to (51 dogs, will be completely filled,, .which will be an exceptional thing, as 52 is the I'iMord.
