Neariy 1100 troops paraded in WMi>indre Street yesterday afternoon to take part in the united memorial service. The assembling of the various units was watched by a largo crowd of spectators. About 2 p.m., the Garrison Band, with the drum-major marching elowly ahead, wheeled out into the Quay, and to the solemn' strains of tho "Dead March," the '■ troops marched, with arms reversed, towards the old Parliament Houeo Grounds, the order of procession being as follows:—

Bauchop, C.SI.G. (officer commanding the district) and Captain R. 0. Chesney, D.A.A.G., while Major'T. W. M'Donald and Captain G. T. Hall assisted. Everything passed off without the slightest hitch.
