An exceptional exposition of tho art of window-dressing is to bo seen in tho main window of tho D.1.0. in Panama Street. The subject of the display is "Madam Butterfly." Life-size figures of Cho Cho San and Little Trouble form the attraction. These, delicately environed with chorry trees m blossom, masses of wistaria aad bunches of chrysanthemums, complote a picturethat is a very fine- effort in tho business of window attractiveness and artistic in the ostreme.
On tho motion of Mr. J. W. Macdonald, solicitor, for the Public Trust Office, the Supremo Court has granted probate of tho wills of tho following:— Jane Hunter, of Fcathcrston, storekeeper; Hon. James Holmes, of Holritika, gentleman; and James T. Constable, of Masterton, hotelkeoper. An order to administer the estate of George Fisher, of Hornby, carrier, and an order to sell land in the estate of John Hayca were also granted.
