LODGE MEETING.

The Pioneer Lodge No. 11, 1.0. G.T., held its weekly session in the Rechabitc Hall, Manners Street on Monday evening when Bro. 11. J. Milan, C.'i'., presided over a very good attendance of members and friends. Throe candidates were initiated, and one proposed for membership. The officers and members of the Hope of Petone Lodge paid a surprise official visit, and were well represented After being officially received the visitors occupied the officers' chairs, Bro. AV. Denby, C.T., presiding. A short but interesting musical programmo was contributed as follows: — Songs, Sis. M. Petherick, Bro. D. Robinson, Sis. Verpillot, Bro. R. Kyle; recitation, Bro. Coulter. Refreshments were provided by the harmony committee. _ The usual vote of thanks was carried by acclamation.
