SILTING COMMISSION.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, May 18. "When the Ohincmuri Silting Commission' resumed to-day, the chairman said the request for an adjournment could not bo granted. Ho intimated that the commission would leave for Thames to-morrow and occupy the rest of the week inspecting tho two rivers affectcd. Tho taking of evidence will commence at Paeroa on Monday.
