Scott, of Canterbury, N.Z., < who graduated in medicine from Edinburgh University last year, hassince held the post of resident medical officer to the - Edinburgh 'Hospital for Women, and Children. She leaves for New Zealand in tho autumn. Sir. Julius A. Lutz,'of Wellington, camo to England five months ago, and, accompanied by his son arid daughter, has been travelling on tho Continent. - On March 21 he was married to Miss Louise M. Froyseng, of Mannheim, -at Christ Church, Woburn Square. Dr. Arthur T. Paterson, of Auckland, who came oyer as surgeon of the Opawa, has been appointed a resident surgeon at the Royal Infirmary, Bradford. Since his return, Dr. Paterson has passed the first section of the examination for the Diploma in Public Health at the University of Birmingham. Mr. Frank Hutchens, of Hawera, who is now a sub-professor of the pianoforte at the Royal Academy of Music, is spending his month's vacation in Cornwall, j Mr. Hutchens was the youngest student | ever appointed to a sub-profossorship, jj being only 16 years old when given tho a position. He is now 18. _ & Engineer-Commander Percy Wheater, . R.N., with Mrs. Wheater and child, and i Miss Preectf, of Auckland, arrived in Eng- j land by the s.s. Corinthic. Commander and Mrs. Wheater will be in England somo years probably, but Miss Preece will ] roturu to New Zealand, after visiting the 6 Continent, in tho autumn. c __________ e ,
