-4 . A successful concert was given under the auspices of St. Patrick's Seamen's Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the Sailors' Best Inst evening. An unusually large audience of seafaring I men attended and immensely enjoyed the c capital programme submitted by tho fol- u lowing ladies and gentlemen:—Miss Law- ' lcr. Miss Barry, Miss M." Davidson, Mr. 4 C. M'Erle.an, Mr. Bongo, Mr. P. Eller, e Leslie Brothers, Mr. Jones, Miss m! B Packer. Mr.. Geyger. Mr. P. Lambert," t Miss M. Davidson. Miss M. Frith, Mr. * Baxter, Master and Miss Rowell, Mr. C, ,v Lansdowne, and Mr. Leslie. Tho accom- I paniments were efficiently played by - Misses Packer, Frith, and Dohorty. At ' tho conclusion Captain Bonner returned , thanks to the performers.
