FREEZING WORKS.

A MEETING AT FEILDING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Fending, May 13. A meeting of the .Feilding district branch of the Farmers' Union was held this afternoon to discuss the proposal to support the Farmers' Co-operative Freezing; Works faj Manawatu, in the Rangitikei district. Some opposition was shown to, the proposal on the ground that the farmers had had cooperative works before, and deserted them when better prices were offering, and that the proposed company would not- get sufficient lambs to keep it going. It was decided, however, to send delegates to the conference to fully discuss the matter.
