SAILORS' REST.

A very large audience of seamen and waterside workers greeted the usual fortnightly concert, given under... the ' auspices .of St. Patrick's Seamen's Conference of the Society of St. Vincent, de Paul, in the Sailors' .Rest last evening. The applause with which the various items vrcro received must have been very gratifying to the ladies and gentlemen who contributed to the following excellent programme :—Pianoforte duet, Master and Miss Rowell; recitation, Miss B. Scanloii; 6ong, Mr. Eoacli; song, Miss Bell; comio speciality, Mr. T. Lambert; eong, Miss Matheson; Highland fling, Miss Daisy M'Lellan; song,' Miss A. Frith; song, Mr. G. Sharpe: recitation, Miss Dans; song, Mis 9 Allen; song, Mr. J. Sweeney j waltz clog dance, Master and Miss Eowell; song, Miss M. Frith; comic items, Mr. C. Lansdowne. The accompaniments were played by the Misses Frith, Davidson, Eowell, and Doherty. Captain Bonner roturned thanks to the performers.
