WELLINGTON SHARE MARKET. All Thames' stocks arc advancing, and tho' only other feature of importance is the continued depression in Waihis. The shares are now down to £3 ss. buyers, with sales recorded at £8 6s. Some official statement as to tho actual position of tho workings would bring Tho shares have dropped from £9 16s. to £8 65.,' or 305.; that is to say, in tho 1 course of about six weeks the market valuation of Waihi has decreased by £750,000, which seems ridiculous. _ Nothing short of an authoritative official statement can stop the decline. The sales reported yesterday were as under :— Pride of Waihi, 4d. (second call). Talisman, 525. 3d. (first call). Victoria, Is. 7d. (second call). Waihi, £8 6s. 6d., £8 6s. 6d., £8 6s. 6d., £8 6s.
