Tho trial of Dr. Hyde, for the alleged; murder of- Colonel Thomas Swope, a millionaire philanthropist, was continued. Accused is charged . with poisoning tho' Colonel (who was his father-in-law), and with infecting onother member of the family with typhoid germs.' ■'. T. Swope, junior, testified that lie saw Dr. Hyde throw capsuleß into the street on December 18, and tread thorn into tho. snow. Witness picked up fragments, a' chemist's analysis of which revealed traces of cyanido of potassium.
