WARNING TO MOTORISTS.

®' r J I Have read with interest of the second, unfortunate accident that has occurred to a motor-car on the Ballance Road at Mathieson's Gulch. Not three mouths ago I was travelling from Napier to Palmerston and had I not been warned by the coachdrivcr at Woodville of this veritable death-trap I should have undoubtedly taken -my car 'down this precipice in similar fashion. The road is positively dangerous at this point, and it would be at least an acb of mercy if the authorities put up a sigh-board "Stop. Danger." I had to get out of my cat' and two of us pushed it round tho bend, for a" car with a small look cannot possibly negotiate ■the corner in an ordinary way.—l am, ctc.. ■ pro bono: motori publico. '
