HASTINGS TRAINING NOTES.
1 (By TeleErabh—Press Association.) Hastings,' April 23. On the tracks this morning Kopu and Polyanthus galloped a mile and a quarter. Ainaru, Seraphic,' Merriwing, ;and Koran did useful gallops. Separator, Sandstream, and Berengaria gai . loped a mile arid a quarter in good stylo, Soparator proving the best. Reservoir, Dazzling, ■ Glissade, Sea. Eagle, Corazon, and Merrie Lawn were nivcn good exercise. Fort William, Rose Letho, and - Ballylieigh 'galloped well ovor six furlongs. Artie beat Appin over - half a mile. Maori King and Bridge covered a mile pleasingly, as did California alone. Waikehua, Raupare, and Obscurity galloped well over six furlongs. Captain Jingle, Bunlnim, ICiatere, Bullworth, Boyne,' Wsles, Pollux, and Lady B/una all (lid good'gallops. Wiminora, Rawhiti, Forest, and Dorando were sohooled ovor'fences.
