Messrs. Dateety and Company, Limited, report havins held their fortnfchtly sale at Upp'er-Hutt on April 21, when they submitted a good yarding of cattle and a, fair yardins of sheep to a food attendance of buyers. Dairy cattle in and close to profit were in exceptional, demand. Other .classes sold well, if anything, in sellers' favour. Prices were as follow:—Sheep: Lambs, shorn,: up to ss. 6d.; woolly !sunH, up to 10s. London Broa.' sale on Wednesday there was, a largo , attendance. The arrangements for displaying stock implements, etc., were exceptionally good, and admitted of ready handling.
