It is estimated that the damage, done to the cane and banana crops' will amount , to over £80,000. In various districts where rubber ■ trees , have been planted,, the trees have been destroyed.- The Methodist Mission, at the Rowa sustained damage amounting to about £3000, and much damage was done to .the crops. At Navua the damage , to bananas is put down at £12,000,' while, at Mbau and other villagesin the neighbourhood, some 300 houses wore destroyed, and a woman was killed-by a house falling on her. In the Rewa. province 795 : houses "were blown down, and at Dieketi a woman was killed by a falling house.\.' • .- ■■• . ■ ..
