It was found that the.:," unfortunate man had sustained a fracture of tho base of tho skull and lie now !■' lies in a critical condition. It is thought that the horse. took fright and swerved ." suddenly, causing Johnson to overbalance " and fall. ■
SUDDEN DEATH, (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, April 14.Adolph Kobn, aged 53, jeweller, whf has been in business in Auckland foi twenty years, died suddenly this morning of heart disease.
