OCCUPANT PINNED UNDERNEATH. !By Telecranh.—Sneoial Correspondent.) Wanganul, March 27. While motoring to Palmorston North on Friday with W. Price, the wellknown jockey and another ridor, who. wereon their way to Feathorston, Mr. Russell's car toppled over tho bank while going down the Wangachu Hill. Price and tho other passenger escaped with a shaking, but Mr. Russell was piiinc'd under the body of the car, and, when released, was found to.have sustained a broken arm and severo injuries to his head. The car .was badly damaged. Price had a lucky escape, and was able to proceed onto Featherston, where he rodo iho winner of tho Handicap, Lethean, on Saturday.
