A Mrs. Hinton was warming some food for her infant when a spirit lamp exploded : and set fire to. the bed in which were the infant and another child. The ; mother- was terribly burned in •trying to rescue them. She and the infant succumbed. The other child and a man who came to the rescue were .badly burned. .
