On Saturday evening' ■a picnic is being held at Waiuoni Park. The athletic championships are to :1 e held on Monday at Lancaster Park, and the debating contest in the evening at' the Choral Hall. On Tuesday the tennis championships are brought to a conclusion, and the University ball is /to bo hold in. the Alexandra Hall on Tuesday night. • .'The shooting con-i. test for the Haslam Shield (open to teams of eight men from each college, to shoot at'2oo, 500, and 600 yards) will bo fired off early,on Saturday morning. The majority ,of ■ the. Victoria College team Will leave Christchiuch on Tuesday night, arriving' back in 1 Wellington on Wednesday morning.
