Sharpshooter and Madam Madcap put- ina working gallop, over seven furlongs. Tikitero went twice round at half pace. Loyola showed w> more advantage than Ratepayer. Southern Cross had a: schooline task over five flights. The Hon. J. D. Ormond's Sir Tristrani, Selene, and Parula—were out, all looking well;. ■' '. . : . ; AT ELLERSLIE. -. ■..'. . Auckland, March 21. _ There was no work of importance at Mershe; this morning; all the horses were confined to steady pacing.
