. TWO -YOUNG MEN'S DEEDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' / Dunedin, March 21. . At the City Police Court''to-day Mr. J. R. Bartholomew,- S.M.; was - engaged from 11 a.m. till 5.45 p.m. in hearing charges of breaking and entering preferred against' Reginald Lawson and Ahfflwny. Reuben Anderson. The former is 21 years old and Jhe latter about 16. The charges covered dates from November last up till the present month. . Chief Detective Herbert stated that there were twenty-two charges in all. Accused would - be • jointly charged on; fifteen informations with breaking;.and' entering' and theft. From two of the places entered nothing was. stolen, but in the-other thirteen, thefts were committed. . Anderson would be"•' charged separately with three, offences, viz., breaking and entering, and theft from a dwelling. • Lawson would be separately charged on three counts with theft from a dwelling. The last offence had been, committed by.Anderson on March, 15, when he, was out on bail, and knew that. fifteen! otter charges were hanging over his head. The total Rvalue or the property stolen was about £310, and the value of that recovered was in the neighbourhood of £206. A great, deal more would have been recovered,' but for the. fact that' the offenders had destroyed it. Also somo money had been taken which had been spent.

WilHamson (£C3 6s). ; Anderson was also committed for sentence on charges of breaking and entering the shop of Gee Wee and stealing goods valued at £5 155.; stealing from , the dwelling of T. Tomlinson. jewellery valued £10. Lawson was also committed for, sentence for stealing a lady's watch from the , dwelling of H.
