A quartet, consisting of Misses M'Mahon. Cooper, Waliaco, and Mr. Denton, also sang. Mrs. Dalton, of Wellington, accompanied tho singers in her usual able manner. Mrs. Dalton, Misses Wallace, M'Mahon, and Cooper wero tho guests of Mrs. Moynihan for tho occasion. The bazaar concluded with a danco on Monday evening. About £138 has been taken up to date, but this amount is likely to be considerably augmented.

The annual treat in connection with St. Mark's Sunday School, which was postponed from January, is to be held in tlio recreation grounds ou Easter Monday. Should the weather prove unfavourable for outside onjoymont, the function will be held in tho school.

Tho Kai Toa minstrels are to give a variety entertainment in the public hall at Parkvale on Thursday evening. CREYTOWN. ; The efforts of Messrs. Drummond and Maxtpn in making a track to Mount Reeves fire already bearing fruit. _ A party consisting of Messrs. Ordish, Stanley, Perkins, and Humphries, and Misses Perkins (Moroa), and Humphries (Woodskle) made tho assent this week in 4J- hours. Members of tho party can "claim the honour of being the first ladies to reach tho summit d this mountain. Another party intonu going up during the Easter holidays, and tho contractors are ■to have tho track cleared right through by that time. Next summer it is hoped to have it cleared to Mount Hector, and..thus to form the connecting link with the Otaki track to the same mountain.

The monthly church parade of the local b'oy scouts was hold on Sunday, Jthe parade being .under tho command of Assistant • Scoutmaster Fairbrother. The Rev. A. T. B.
