'There is some likelihood .of Kerr and Wilson, the crack amateur walkers, mee't- : ing. again in the near future. . At last evening's meeting of ...the ';Wellington Cen- ; tre of. the N.Z.A.A.A. , a letter was re- ./. oeived from the secretary of the Auck- . land Centre, couched in the following terms:— ••••• ; .' I thought if such took place it might' . probably be arranged at a, sports meeting -in "Auckland in aid'of the',funds of the Auckland Centre. You are aware that owing; to the unfortunate -weather experi- . enced at the New Zealand championship' . meeting " a 'freat deficit:, will /result.. In fact, we; estimate, it roughly-at about (or over) .£SO. After some discussion it was decided to refer . the letter : to -Kerr, , the general opinion'of delegates being that Kenwould welcome' such an- opportunity: to regain'his-lost laurels.'
