; , .DIAMOND CLUB.. The aniiiial meeting ,of the Diamond Association Football.Club was hold, last evening at the..Trocadero, .There was a good attendance of members, and Mr; R. Davenport (president) occupied tho chair. The report and balance-sheet, a. precis of which appeared yesterdaj-, -were read and adopted, on the motion of .Mr. J. E. Collins, seconded by Mr. Bernard. Six new members were elected.
The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. R. E. Davenport (re-elepted);. vice-presidents, Messrs. A. E. Wells, H. S. Bernard, J. B. Collins, H. B. Swain; W. K. Eoulston, W. 11. Bedell, W. H. Taylor,.F. -T. Earle, H. Power, J. B. Haddon, H. Egerton (all re-elected), G. Maws; hon. secretary, J. W. Black elected) j hpn. . treasurer, A. G. Barnett (re-elected); captain senior -first, W, Roberts (re-elected)-, vice-captain senior first,..-A. Lowe; Management Committee, Messrs. Thorley, Taylor, Collins, Eobin,son, and officers ex-pfficio;. captain'senior 'second, G. \ Eoberts, (re-elected); vice-cap-tain, senior: second,' J. ■■ Magee (re-elected); Match. Committees:, senior, first," W. Kpberfs, Thorley, and Hathaway; senior second, G. Eoborts, F.-Lowe, and Fibsgerald.v The; election of. ofiicers for Junior League teams was left over until Tuesday, March 15.,, ■ ■ Messrs. Barnett, Anderson, and Black were appointed, delegates to the Wellington Football' Association, and Messrs. Anderson and -Bernard* were appointed hon. auditors. '. ....... It was resolved-to-commence practice on Saturday, week, Correspondence .was read from the HastClub inviting a team to visit them at faster, and it was resolved to accept the invitation.
