SAILORS' REST.

—— ' ' ' The fortnightly concert under the auspices ,of the St. Patrick's Conference of the Society of' St. Vincent de Paul was given in the Sailors' Rest last evening before a-large audience of seafaring men. The programme submitted was of a high order, items being contributed by the following ladies and gentlemen :—Miss Hamilton, Mr. E. Walsh, Miss ,A. Frith, Mr. M. O'Eane, Miss Nugent, Miss M. Frith, Mr. Lansdowne, Mr. J. Baird, Miss E. Bowden, Mr. F. Cooze, Miss Wilson, Mr. G. Wilson, and Mr. H. Elmore. The accompaniments were efficiently played by Misses Duprey, Frith, and Bowden.' Captain Bonher, in returning thanks to the performers, announced that owing to the encouraging patronagp extended by 6eamen to the conference, another .concert would be given in the Sailor's Rest next Monday evening. ■ .
