SUDDEN DEATH OF MR. WM. M'CULLOUGH.

He was in his bedroom dressing for business, and was about to put on his coljar, when ho dropped down dead. He' had been m normal health up to the time of his death.

Mr. 11 Gullough, who has had a wide banking oxponence in Australasia, Was born at Porfadown, in 'the north of Ireland, m February, I§sl. 'When a young man he came out to Australia joining the staff of the Bank of New South Wales in Brisbane in 1573. Ten ymrs later found him bank manager at Maryborough, and in ISSS manager at Rockhampton. Three yeare later lie was transferred back to Brisbane as' assistant manager, and. was later appointed assistant inspector for Queensland. In ISS3 he was appointed manager at Auckland, and after being there for a time was transferred to Perth, Western Australia On the death of tho late Mr. Aloysius Macßonold, Mr. M'Cullongh w,is appointed manager at Wellington. The deceased gentleman was 59 years of ago. He leaves a widow, three daughters, and one son, who are resident in Wellington.
