_ Reporting upon tho . supernumerary fund for the whole of Australasia, Mr K acosevear, Kcw Zealand treasurer, stated that the balance transferred to capital .account was several hundreds of pounds more than in the previous year, and that the fund was'now in an exceedingly satisfactory position. The expenses of the fund were paid entirely out of interest on investments, and the assets totalled .£399,358. Discussion of the Home Mission fund occupied, considerable time. A large committee had reviewed Us busines nsnd Dalance-sheet, and tli'j Eev. T. G. Uroolce submitted, the report. This was considered in detail. The estimated income for the coming year was sot down as between five and six thousand pounds. Mr. Veale (Auckland) was appointed treasurer as successor to Mr. F. N. Prime. Further resolutions .of tho' committee are to be considered on Monday after"' the third Teading of stations has been disposed of. This afternoon, by invitation, tho members of the conference visited Knox College, and were received by Professor Hewitson who headed tho party in its inspection of the magnificent buildings. Before leaving tho college, the Ecv. W Baumber, at the request of the president (Eev. Mr. Laws) expressed the pleaeuro of tho conference at its visit and its thanks to Professor Hewitson for his courteous and fraternal reception
