Messrs..Bibby Bros.- commence their novel and -exciting entertainment on tha old Tramway Grounds, Adelaide ■ Road, when-'a great' treat mooted forward to by amusement lovers. ; l;he show .consists of buckjumpers,' trick ponies,- donkeys, etc., headed - by ."Rise Up, .described--as "the; most notorious outlaw m the Dominion," for which the ,managenient offer .£2O to the rider who successfully sits: him. for two minute's in' an ; ordinary English hunting saddle. Prizes, medals,< etc.,■: will -be offered to local riders on any of-the other outlaws. Mr.-John James Firth, proprietor of the ; Caledonian (a well-know hotel/) is'giving a: handsome.gold medal for a competition amongst local .riders.' This should- .prove intensely exciting and interesting. The management has also- engaged those wellknown':'rifle shots, 1 ■' the'' Barnard Bros.; whose .wonderful)shooting has astounded many throughout'the Dominion. Other items of interest: are too numerous - to mention, but one .which is well, worth seeing'is.the lassoing and riding by the Brothers Bibby, who are daring.and intrepid' horsemen. iDoors open at 7.30.
