' ■:., ..■.:/;■ OTAKI.;: Mrs. Judd, wife: of Mr. David Judd, of this town, passed away at about 8 o'clockon Wednesday evening. Only recently the deceased lady underwent a succissful operation, and appeared to be rallying, in fact her many friends were looking forward to ;h(>r ultimate recovery, but.the case eventually look a fatal/termination. Mrs.. Judd, wlio was of a somewhat retiring disposition, was: generally respected in the Otaki district; nnd.deop sympathv is expressed, for the husband .and members of the family and relatives. ■'■". \ , .-.-■;
A match for the Kinniburgh feathers between Otaki and Levin took place on the Otaki bowling rinks on Wednesday, and resulted in favour.of the visitors. Otaki have now.successfully.defended, the feathers on nearly a dozen occasions.
