• Missouri Mines,-Limited*—The'country .is still oxcellent andesite, heavily • chirr/sod with' minerals. The, reef opened out to a strong body of .ore,-while'the quartz very kindly, • carrying excellent 'class minerals and seams of.sulphido.' The footwall portion of the reef shows • a T .fair prospect of gold by . dish and mortor tests; The hangingwall' portion shows gold, but' is not- as-'encouraging - as the • footwall. The reef has every appearance of : increasing in size, as the level-is advanced. ':
• Mountain'King.—North at-the intermcdiato level-the. country is still excellent andesite. . The reef, has. overy, appearance of a' strong body of. ore.Tho reef will be' taken down early, noxt ; week.- 1 Stoping south, the reef ' is slightly, disturbed, 'owing to the change :in the country, the -andesito lying : on ; top ;'of..the -slate. -.Another stope : will; reach the/ andesite country, where the reef wilbbecome a compact body of ore again, and at this point the reef carried; good values;in'.'the. rise! - Stoping norths, the reef Btill shows colours- 1 of cold when .taken down. • •
