MEDICAL CONFERENCE
YESTERDAY'S PROCEEDINGS.
The annual, conference of. the .Medical Association was continued yesterday -in the Parliamentary Buildings. In the morn-ing,-after a meeting of the branch council, Dr. Colqpjioun (Dunedin) opened a .very interesting discussion on goitre. ; In the, afternoon a, water, picnic was held, of nhich a report' is . given in another column. In; the erenine papers were givenas. follow: —(1) "Acnio Primary }ye:}\tis in Children," Dr. Bruton Sweet (Anckland) j (2) "Immediate Feeding in Gastric Ulcer," Dr. Marshall Maodonald (Diinedin); (3) "loiric Medication," Dr. Izard (Wellington).' . The confcrence will be : to•«K when all the subiocte of discussion will bo of a technical nature. In the afternoon a Mayoral reception will .take place, at 4 o'clock, at. tile /Town Hall, ttfd in the evening tho association dinner ; will be held, and thoro will be a social evening for ladies at the Pioneer Club.
