The programme for his Excellency the Governor's visit to Napier is as follows:— On the evening of March 2 hie Excellency will arrive by the express train, and will be escorted to his hotel by a guard of honour, At 11 a.m. on March 3 ho will open the children's ■ ward, at noon he will receive an address of welcome at the Marine Parade rotunda, at 1 p.m; there will be lunch at the Masonic Hotel, and at 2 p.m. his Excellency will depart for Hastings. ■ . ■' :

A serious accident happened in Auckland on Sunday to Mr. C,-A. of Wellington.'
