Beresford's allegations at Dartford as to. the Dreadnought-cruiser Invincible being unable to fire her 12in. guns. •; ;.' . The First Lord says the allegations, are. nonsense.- -Tho Invincible has fired and, can fire her. guns,' and -, would be able to do so again if at war. [Admiral Lord Charles Beresford, M.P. for -Portsmouth, in: a speech at Dartford; in Kent, last month; said' "that if the Dreadnought-cruiser Inviricible had been commissioned . last' March,,'she would never havo been able to firo her twelveinch,-; guns if she were threatened. The Invincible was ordered; into dock,; and her crew was.'transferred to another ship.].
