ST. JAMES'S, SOUTH WELLINGTON.' Tho annual picnic of St. James's Presbyterian Sunday ncnooi ac Souin Wellington was hold in the Scatoun Park on Saturday. The children and parents,, numbering in all about 400, were conveyed in special trams to the park. Tho ■weather..'was delightftsi, and,, tho spot chosen an ideal one for an. outing,, there being plenty of tree shelter from the strong heat of the sun's ravs. _ During .the' day sports and games were indulged in, an'd Mr. R. G. ; Dagger, . superintendent, kept tho bairns in a continual simmer of merriment, providing everything that tho. heart of a child, could desiro. The little ones . returned home in the cool : of j:ho evoning, with. rosy, cheeks, and'all smiles for-their, genial superintendent. ST THOMAS'S, NEWTOWN. ' : Tho combined pupils of St. . Thomas's Sunday School (Newtown) and St. ".Cutiibert's (Berhampore) also held their' annual picnic on the picturesque seashore at; Lyall .Bay..
