Sir,—A bridge across the Ongarue Siver at Tauraarunui was promised by the Government.. Upon these promises the un- ; fortunate settlers of. Otanui and Lower '.Ohura relied. Now, at date the bridge imatter is hung, up, pending ■ everything and anything that may tend to delay the building of the bridge. What is; tho meaning of this?
