Mr, Macarthur died in'..Feilding;.in : 1892,- Messrs. Barr raud and Abraham's store and'offices'now occupy the site of his old residence. The fifth house: was Mr. G. Fowld's twostoried ,place,"while the big/two-storied
building on the right was the Denbigh Hotel, named after the Earl of Denbigh, brother; to Colonel Feilding, The Vshaped edifice opposite'was owned by a Mr. Wright. Tho little square packingcase immediately en the right' was the Bank pf Australasia. The Ban.k pf New Seuth Wales, the Bank ef Australasia, and Mr, Peter Thompson's shop now oocupy the spaces taken up in the' photograph by the logs, while a portion pf the unsightly bush patch: opposite ,is now taken up by Mr. John Cobbe's big de-
partment store. So far no pld resident has been able to name the, occupants of the horse and cart, or 'its: owner.'-,-
