Bro. l'V'Hodgo presiding. A very . good muster of members and visiting brethren wore present, the D.CJK. Bro.Jessen, be-' mg amougst .the number. P.C.E. Bro. H. , Whitcom b : was presented -with a framed certificate and neck; ribbon for - his past w^ c -n S o' received .from tho ill-' Council asking- tjie court to hold a vsocial gathering* oncQ a year tho proceeds to go towards, augmenting the Jubilee; Orphanage .Fund.:- ' • - I >. At - the weekly session of tho Pioneer of Good Templars, "held in - the. Rechabite' Hall, Manners Street, on Mon-' day.evemng, : Bro.-R; Coulter,; C.T., presided oyer a good of members ?• At ??. District Lodge for the - ensuing 1 considerable- excitement owing to .the keen competition. - Greetings from various lodges were - conveyed by travelling members.; ; A new Harmony Committee was elected for tho. next term.After recess the .following programme was submitted by Bro; R/Reid, who itas responsible for a "Scotch' Night" :—Song, . Reid: gave a very - interesting account' of' Robert Burns's -life; quoting some .of the poet's .hioro popular .works. A' - ' hearty.' voW- of;thanks to Bro.
