Hospital ( Stated .tiiatr-during - December twelve patiente' ,were_ admitted, and . thirteen discharged. Eight males and four' females: wore : at; present:- undergoing .treatment; . The, matron reported that mtients , - : fees;'';amoinitine;.'.tb..'i£ll'.Sßn' had been.- received.' During- - the. last month; five 1 patients; wero admitted :' and. five discharged from • the.! Sanitorium. ' The tenders of Messrs.' Howell.": and Co., and Mr. George: Noble for lie- meat supply for ' the; year for-the • two - Otaki institutions,' and- CockrilTs- for groceries, wero accepted. . .." •. . The statement -of finances : showed a credit-balance, of .£IBB3 Bs, 9d. Accounts -£1646'.2&. 9d. were passed for payment. ' This left' a balanco: of about .£2OO to carry forward.
