Allman, five wickets for 65 runs, was the most successful bowler amongst tho • visitors. New South Wales compiled 281. Eose, who reached a contury and a half, in the first match of the tour, scored" 88 by excellent cricket, and" his partner for the 'first wicket,. M'Mullen,' was not disposed of until his tally was 103. These two men pasted the bowling all , over the field, and placed balls . with remarkable '~ accuracy.
