Tho Thorndon Dinghy Sailing Club go* off another of a tones of mid-weekly races last evening for a trophy presented! by Mr, A. H Turnbull. The following boats started.—Rona, 7mm.; Vera, 3min.; > Blowfly, lmin.; and Zel, scr.' The wind, being light from the north-west/permit-ted tho carrying of large sails. On the. beat to windward tho Vera and Zel moved up into good positions, and fought fori first plaoe. The race resulted in a wial for Vera, - followed by "Zel, with" Roua> ' oldse <up, Blow A) being "some distance behind. On Saturday next the second of a 6oncs of three raoos for the club cham-, pionship will be sailed. On the follow-, ing Saturday a race will bo sailed f6r a! cup presented by Messrs.
