A cyclonic . disturbance passed off East Capo on Bunday, and a minimum of 29.20 inchos was recorded on s.s. -Monowai at eca. This followed a small westerly in tho south, and in the rear of both disturbances with the rising barometer was a very heavy southerly gale, which raged on the North and East Coasts on Saturday and Sunday. The present indications are for an extensive rftaterly area of low pressure, bringing high westerly winds and unsettled weather.
