Britain and Germany have conclnded a convention for tho mutual protection of trademarks in Korea. It is stated that Sir Ernest Cassel (a friend of King Edward, and a financier whoso operations cover many fields, from Egypt to tho Central London Bailway) is visiting Berlin with tho object of discussing Gorman proposals foi British co-operahon in the construction of tho Bagdad railway.
