MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
An enjoyable ■ concert -was given' by Mrs, Eichelbaum at the Missions. to Seamen's Institute last evening before a largo audience. The chair was occupied by Mr. James Moore, the missioner. Tho programmo was contri-' bitted'to-by. the following:'—Misses Webster, Newman, D. Isaacs, King, Messrs. B. Lyon, P. A. do la Mare, and Dr. N. Isaacs. Miss Web-, stcr played the .accompaniments. Every item was encored. Several popular ohoruses'wero sung by -tho' audience, and an amusing conundrum competition was won by; from ships in port. : The missioner delivered; an' 'earnest temperance address, resulting in fourteen men taking the pledge Hearty cheers were given to tho performers at the conclusion, and light refreshments w.ero dispensed..-...
