' ■ The District High.School has'added to its equipment a miniature rifle range. The cadets of tho school raised half the cost themselves, the remainder being. mado. up by a' ; subsidy from the Education Department. - ' The Harbour Board is giving, some attention to the question of sand drift, which ruined much -good/ land oh. this coast, and has instructed, its engineer to prepare , a map showing what portion of the board's property , has been affected., Steps to combat tho evil will probably, follow. ■ The' old boys of tho High School. have presented the school with-a fine silver' challenge cup'for svrimmins.-
