ELECTION OV THE NEW BOARD. A meeting of dolegates from the Contributing Local Authorities" was held; yesterday to* elect six trustees to the Wellington Hospital Board to'hold plfico, until April next, vhon the' nowHospital and Charitable Aid Bill will; coiiio into force, if it is passed, or otherwise to hold office for .tlie 'yea*.-.' Tho . retiring trusteos were Messrs, 11. C. Kirk, 6. London, J.W. MTJwan, G. Nush,: J. Rod, and A. Smith. The following delegates were present; Messrs. C. J. Crawford (Miramar), J. Barr (Eastbourne), ,W. It. Elimmer (Onslow), C. I. i Dasent' (Karori), J.:W. M'Ewan (Petorio), F. T. Mooro. (Makara), and W. Galloway (tlntt). ' Tho meeting elected- the following trustees: —Messrs. Agmen Smith, B. C. Kirlc, Geo. London, J. W. M'Ewan, P. T. Moore, and G. Nas'n. In addition to the. above, Mr. Jaines ; Trevor, had already boen re-elected.the City.Council's on tho board. The Hon. C. M, : Luke,- M.I/.C., and Mr. J. Danks hold office ;as representatives of; the hospital contributors. The Hon. Mr. Luke retires from office on January 13, whon the annual meeting of the hospital contributors takes place for the purpose of electing; a trustee ; •.v ;•/.. ■ The oloction was conducted by Mr. J, Coyle,; secretary ;of the Hospital Board, ,'who 'was accorded a'vote of thanks for the manner in:whicli ho carried, out the office.
